Staying Motivated

Let me begin by saying that it is very hard to stay motivated during the winter months! Everything seems so gray and gloomy. There is not much sunshine and when the sun does make it through the gray cloudy sky, there is usually dirty snow everywhere. What I realized the other day when reading some blogs and looking at some of the wonderful winter images on flickr is that there are some beautiful things all around us.

I went for a walk the other day in beautiful Wooster, OH after we received about 10 inches of snow. I took my camera with me because I had not taken many shots in the last couple of months and I needed to get motivated. I realized that there are some amazing things to be captured. I fired off some shots and though they may not be the best, it just goes to show that you should never stop shooting.
